I want to paraphrase a slogan I heard one time. The best way for evil to triumph is for good people do nothing. Another slogan I heard is, if you don’t stand for something you fall for everything. I believe there is a silent majority in America that needs to be heard. The anger over the Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake debacle is I believe just the beginning of a backlash against to much sexual content in our media. A growing number of people are fed up with the crass in your face immorality of rock stars, movie stars, moguls, gays, and TV show execs. The very same thing these power brokers are doing they accuse religious people of doing, they are guilty of cramming their views down everyone’s else’s throats. Some Americans are sick and tired of these people putting their spin and their message on sexual morality into our homes. MTV has long been a purveyor of blatant sexuality, violence, and perversion for the young masses. They are preaching and converting our young children to do stupid, evil, and vile things, to whomever they want, whenever they want. Many shows such as jackass and South Park are downright degrading and shameful to all Americans and a bad reflection of our culture to the world.

Many TV shows and movies promote adultery, homosexuality, pre marital sex, and perversion. It is not so simple to just turn your TV off. Everywhere you look we are inundated with sexually suggestive and even explicit material. The local TV station are now showing more nudity, sex, and are far more free in their use of curse words. Its almost as though we have only two choices their brand of entertainment or no entertainment. The truth is family movies still make more money than those with sexually explicit themes. We need more entertainment to get on board the family values wagon. There was a time when movies depicted the best in people. I recently saw the coming attractions for the movie monster about a female killer. It seems we want to see the most vile and depraved things about our nature. Movies used to be inspirational and uplifting. Now many are filled the worst humanity can offer to fulfill a political and financial agenda of a few powerful people.

We have taken the word shame out of our vocabulary and have done irreparable harm to our psyches. The very thing psychology told us shame would do to us perversion is doing. It is damaging our perspective of what is normal and human. These people are making the abnormal normal. The old adage its art, its humor, its free speech is the banner under which these perverse people operate. They bend and pervert the constitution to serve their purposes.

Where is women’s lib to bring dignity to the American woman as there seems to be no shortage of bawdy, overtly sexual woman willing to do anything for attention and money. Many woman are dehumanizing themselves. Many more are willingly making themselves into sex objects to be disrespected and discarded later on in life after they have had their 30 seconds of fame. There is a new reality show with Donald Trump where a group of people are fighting to win a job in His organization. Donald Trump warned the woman their using to much of their sexuality to succeed instead of ingenuity and brains. The media knows sex sells and is using it for all its worth. They care very little that it is demeaning people or contributing to making our society coarse. Maybe they need to know sex also kills. It kills and destroys lives through sexually transmitted diseases. It kills our health care system straining under a great financial burden. It kills marriages and the healthy lifestyle of monogamy. It kills the morality of our nation. It kills peoples real search for meaning and purpose in their lives.

The people running these huge multimedia corporations have enormous finances and power. They use their influence to convince us these lifestyles are normal, right, rational, sane, and healthy. They have deep pockets that many Americans in this country who want to have equal time to fight back don’t have. Some people feel overwhelmed and frustrated without a means or recourse to fight this reshaping of our society. There is a silent majority that needs a voice. News analyst and reporters are revealing a degenerating effect upon Americans as coarseness keeps growing in our society.

Its about control – There is a group of people who want control and power to influence the masses to their way of thinking. There are many arrogant people who firmly believe any form of morality is restrictive and unnatural. These people demand this country be shaped into what their image of mankind and America should be like. Their hope is this will give them a license and power to behavior badly without sanctions. To them it is a political battle to be won. They also believe the masses will finally accept their brilliance even if the ignorant have to come kicking and screaming into their camp. The battle is to win our acceptance as they wear us down hoping to get our mindless subservience to their grand ideas. It is the foundation of our country they want to undermine seeking to control its destiny and future in their image.

Its about money and greed – There is a segment that are just interested in what sells. Psychologist are warning, that Americans through the internet, TV, and movies that there is a growing sexual addiction in this country whose future consequences can be devastating. It will effect marriages and children as the structure of the American family is being undermined and torn apart. It is through their ability to addict a generation much like the cigarette companies did to gain access to our wallets. Jesus knew sin was slavery to evil.

Its an ideological battle – For others it is an ideological battle for the hearts and minds of people. They believe strongly that their morality is right and healthy. They have enough power and money to persuade millions. They will also see this country reap the effects of this plague but will as many others have done claim they are not responsible for peoples choices and decisions. Much of what we see is pure propaganda. Its about convincing the masses their view of the world is the right one.

Its about living out sexual perversion in our face – There is another segment of the population that want acceptance and rights for their deviant behavior. This group wants to parade every kind of perverse behavior in our faces. They not only want that right but demand we accept it as normal.

Lets face it we all have weaknesses and are susceptible to bad behavior. The problem is when we justify it by calling some thing evil good or normal. We must stop calling human weakness and depravity strength. W hen we call evil good we are condemning ourselves to a future without a remedy. We all like Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde must fight the evil within us. The purpose for spirituality is to help us by truth, love, and encouragement be our best selves. Christianity came through Jesus to deliver us from such backward thinking that is in our country today. Jesus said, The truth will set you free.
