Humanism and atheism will ultimately fail because they are not compatible to the makeup of the human heart and mind. We were created for God and to seek God. In God we will find our destiny and become complete. The humanist, atheist and scientist only want to consider what we can measure as reality. There are still many things that cannot be measured in our universe. There are many things not fully understood and exist as an integral part of our universe. Some of these invisible laws we use and experience. Some we are still learning their operation. We don’t doubt their existence. There are may be laws and principles in science and physics we still have not discovered. We cannot say they don’t exist. We as human beings are more than what we can see. All that we are as people is more than what we can measure by an experiment. We are more than the chemicals and systems that make up our body. We are more than the firing of electrical impulses in our brain. We love, dream, create, show compassion and live in hope. These are unseen qualities yet we can see their effects on others. We have feelings, emotions, thoughts, creativities that are unseen yet measurable. Christianity has unseen qualities yet its results too are measurable in changed lives for the better. We may not see the spirit world or the kingdom of God but it is just as real as the material universe we live in. We can experience God’s Spirit and kingdom if we will only open our heart to Him. Every human experience is valid and it is prejudice to say it is not. It is intolerant to say it has no value. It is disrespectful to label it with derogatory statements. Today many are trying to characterize Christianity as belonging to a certain class of ignorant or radical people. We must certainly include some great men and woman including the founders of our country. It is this kind of rhetoric that Christianity has to suffer in this hour.

Atheism and humanism cannot give what the human heart needs the most, meaning, purpose, and a true love. We receive meaning because we have value. We are loved by God and not an accident of nature. We have value because the awesome God of the universe created us to be like Him. This is God’s greatest gift and puts us on Gods heart as having ultimate value. We are born for a purpose to choose God’s will. We were created to love and bless others. We were created to see the value God placed in every human life. We were created to empower others and in doing so we become great in God’s kingdom. When our life is over the full fruit of our purpose will come to fruition. We will live in the love, perfection and work of God for all eternity.

We were born to be loved by God’s unselfish, pure, and faithful love. His love feeds our souls and satisfies us as nothing else can. Christianity is not a primitive religion of fear and superstition but for the intelligent who have discovered love is our reason for being. It is not a religion of primitive instincts but the highest intellectual law by the great moral governor of the universe God. The great law is love and it takes intellect, self control, selflessness and dignity to walk in love. It is not any love but the perfect love of God that we need. The truest purest most satisfying love we can ever experience is in God. We will only be fully complete and satisfied in the love and purposes of God.
