Worship

Worship is where we put God first and above everything else. We must love God with our whole heart, whole mind, whole soul, and our whole strength. The world is filled with idolatry which is anything we love more than God. The world is condemned because they have failed to love God. It is faith that proves we love God as we act upon God’s word in obedience. Jesus said, “If you love me you will obey me.” When we believe in God as He revealed Himself and act upon it we will be in a living faith and love.

God is worthy of our worship because of His nature, His character, and His works. In all things God is selfless and loving. God is holy which means without evil and filled with goodness. God created us and blessed us that we would understand and love Him.

The work of the church is to reveal God to the world through our worship. Worship is our ever increasing love for God through our thoughts, words, and deeds. Our life should reflect our worship because we love Him so much we desire to please Him. We must worship God unselfishly and without motive or need. We must put God first above our motives and needs. God is looking for true worshippers who will worship Him for who He is because He is worthy.

New Life

The purpose of our being created was to reflect the glory the goodness the nature the person of God. We will live in His happiness, in His joy, and in His power when we become more like God. We were created to be happy as we walk in the character of Christ. God is a principled God as we walk in His principles and godliness we will be truly victorious.

We were created to live victoriously in God’s character and dominion over evil. Sin can never produce happiness. Our lives have been saved from the power of evil to control us. We are made in God’s image and likeness. This means we must live in the dominion of righteousness. Our lives should reflect our victory over evil in our lives.

Righteousness is the right use of all that God has created. Righteousness is authority because we are found faithful to be entrusted with God’s gifts, power, and authority. God wants to entrust us with all His treasures both spiritual and natural. God is looking for a people He can trust to invest and partner with in His kingdom.

The kingdom of God

The kingdom of God is about the rule of God. The kingdom of God is about the will of God. If we are worshipper’s unselfish lovers of God we will be great kingdom children. If we walk in victory over evil and the evil one, we will understand our new life reflecting God’s will and nature. The kingdom of God is spiritual warfare. It is where the children of God in war with the children of darkness and Satan.

The church’s mission is warfare. It is about winning the minds and hearts of people to God. It is about defeating the powers of darkness that hurt, torment, afflict, and destroy through sin and separation from God the people of this world. The church must take back what Satan has stolen. He has robbed the world of worship, victory over evil, and happiness. He has robbed people of the dominion of the kingdom of God. Sadly to much warfare is to pull down the idols in our heart and in our lives.

The kingdom is at war with evil values that destroy. The kingdom is at war with unbelief, doubt, and fear. Satan wants us to doubt God, His word, its power, its authority. Satan works through deception, lies, afflictions, temptations and war against God’s will. Satan has created a myriad of standards of righteousness, their corresponding gods, and religious ideas to deceive the world.

The kingdom fights inequality, sickness, poverty, ungodliness, violence, and every other force or thought that opposes the will of God. The kingdom is the will of God manifested in our lives. We must fight every day for the kingdom and the will of God to reign in our lives over Satan’s rule and kingdom.

The blessings of God are the will of God. We must never feel we are fighting God to get our blessings. All our blessings have been given in Christ. We are fighting the powers of darkness that hinder us and attack us through sin and unbelief to fail to walk fully as the children of God. God has provided in Christ all we need. It is ours let us receive it by faith and know every hindrance is the forces of hell. God will only oppose the proud, disobedient, the rebellious, and the sinful. The judgment of God was removed in Jesus Christ through His cross and His shed blood. Once we receive the victory through repentance we must bring the will of God into the earth. Jesus said, “John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.”
