In celebration of Independence Day here are some quotes that I found on the Internet from our forefathers and former Presidents:
THOMAS JEFFERSON:
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
GEORGE WASHINGTON:
It is impossible to rightly govern a nation without God and the Bible.
Let us raise a standard to which the wise and honest can repair; the rest is in the hands of God.
Some day, following the example of the United States of America, there will be a United States of Europe.
RONALD REGAN:
Freedom prospers when religion is vibrant and the rule of law under God is acknowledged.
If we ever forget that we are One Nation Under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
JIMMY CARTER:
We should live our lives as though Christ were coming this afternoon.
You can not divorce religious belief and public service. I've never detected any conflict between God's will and my political duty. If you violate one, you violate the other.

Congratulations to the Farmingdale Girl’s Lacrosse Team. It was undefeated and the NY State Champions. Coaches ranked them #1 in the nation. One of our own girls is on the team and she will always be #1 in our eyes…that’s great! Keep up the good work.
