THE QUIET HEROES, pt II
1Cor 12:18 - But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body, as it hath pleased Him
We all have a job to do in God’s Kingdom and we are all given gifts. This lady is one of those quiet heroes in our church who goes about God’s business without seeking accolades or acknowledgement. She makes the CD's for people after the service. You’ll recognize her because she is always smiling. I believe it’s the peace and joy of the Lord that fills her.
She told me she wanted to serve in the church and felt this was a way she could do it. She actually was raised in a Jewish home and came to know the Lord through her husband. They have raised a beautiful family who is serving the Lord.
Our "CD Lady" said that one of the greatest things God has done for her is to give her peace, no matter what is happening around her. It is a wonderful thing to know that God is there and that you can pray to Him and you can always go to Him.
This lovely lady has a spiritual vision about the her ministry and hopes that it not only blesses those who may have missed the service but it is a way for others outside the church to be encouraged and to hear what God has to say.
Are you interested in helping out with the CD's? Talk to our "CD Lady". I’m sure she’d welcome the help.
PASTOR'S NOTES
Well summer is almost over and so are many of our vacations. It is a good time to begin your morning by reading 3 or 4 chapters of your Bible. Make a prayer journal and daily date your prayer requests. You can see the prayers God answered and it will strengthen your faith.
It's also a good opportunity to find ministry in the house of God. Let this be the year of evangelism. it begins with you being inspired to invite people to a church service and then maybe take them to lunch as a follow up.

Please join us in praying for:
- All the families in the church
- No unemployment in the church
