This lady is a woman of excellence. She’s been told it by a visiting prophet and our own pastor and I’ve seen it myself. We were asked to help out with a spring cleaning of the church. I was asked to clean the walls. Unlike the lazy maid who doesn’t do windows, she does windows and walls too!!

Our Ministry of Helps Lady is a woman of service doing what she is asked to do from teaching, to prayer to cleaning the church. She’s been a blessing to many in the church. Her professional expertise as a Partner in an accounting firm has been a help to anyone who asked.

I asked her to tell me one or two things God did for her. She told me how God walked her though a diagnosis of cancer, giving her peace and strength throughout. She is now completely healthy.

She also told me of a time when she and her husband were praying for something very important. At the same time, they felt God was putting a decision before them that could change their lives. They chose to obey God regardless of what the cost and their miracle prayer was answered. Obedience does bring blessings.

Jesus asked His disciple one day, "Who do men say that I am?" I have heard a lot about what men have to say about Jesus, but Jesus said of Himself, “Before Abraham was, I am.” Let your faith rest in the fact that God came to earth in human flesh. He who was outside of time entered time. He who is outside the creation entered into it. God did not skirt the issues of pain and suffering but entered fully into the human race experiencing all its sorrows and joys. He did this to identify with you and all you are going through. He is no stranger to all we experience. He is therefore a great high priest because having suffered like us He can sympathize with us bringing hope and answers to our lives.
