The Prayer Ministry

James 5:16

…and pray for one another that you may be healed and restored

Ever feel alone or as if no one knows or cares what you are going through? Well, have I got good news for you. Every Sunday a group of people meet before church starts and they pray for us.

I spoke with the person who heads this ministry and she told me that these prayer warriors pray for us to be built up and to bring us closer to God. She said she knows God will do what He says because of what He has done in her life. No matter what you are going through, you are not alone. Not only do you have the Lord but you have people who are praying just for you.

This prayer warrior told me of the miracle God did in her life by getting her out of poverty. Through prayer, God guided her into her current profession as a teacher and we are blessed to have her teaching in Key to Faith’s Children’s Church, as well.

Anyone may join the prayer ministry. Just stop in before church and as you listen to the prayers agree with what’s being prayed.

PASTOR’S NOTES

I believe the Church of Jesus Christ is moving into a season of intercession. The many needs of people will go unanswered if we fail to pray. Demonic powers will oppress us if we fail to bind them and take authority over them. The lost will remain captive to Satan without prayer. Prayer is the responsibility of all Christians and God will hold us accountable if there is no victory.
